Bird Walk

Open Daily 10am - 4pm • Free Admission

Save Our Seabirds is a serene refuge - for the birds in our care and the people who come to see them. The Bird Walk is not a zoo or a traditional museum, but a thoughtfully designed space of aviaries, ponds, and native foliage.

Peaceful paths invite you to slow down, listen to the chatter of birds and the rustle of mangroves, and notice the small wonders: a wing’s flutter, a beak’s curve, the quiet intelligence in a crow’s eyes.

Every bird here has a story - if you’re listening.

Behind the Scenes

At any given time, our Avian Hospital may be caring for 100–200 birds in rehabilitation. We’re often asked if visitors can see the hospital, and while we know it’s disappointing, the answer is no. Limiting human contact is one of the most important ways we protect the birds in our care. Birds that become too comfortable around people often struggle to survive once released — they may approach humans for food or fail to avoid danger. Even the sound of human voices can raise stress levels for certain species, so we keep the hospital as calm and undisturbed as possible. By preserving their natural instincts and behaviors, we give them the best chance to return to the wild where they belong.
